News came across the wire today that fan favorite Kevin Garnett will be a Boston Celtic for three more years. If Garnett plays like he has this past season then the "Green Teamers" should be excited. The deal is worth 3 years 34 million which for a man that has been the back bone for Doc Rivers and Danny Ainge seems to be short change. Kevin Garnett brings a veteran presence to the great draft class that has been out together.
One question is will Kevin be willing to come off the bench and help the rookies along.
And to think that Garnett didn't even want to come here at first, I wonder if this will bring back Ray Allen to try and give the 2nd generation big 3 a second chance, or if he will "take his talents to south beach".
I truly fell Allen will resign, familiar system, great coaching in Doc, and not to mention a fan base that fake Miami isn't going to give him.
